SocketZero Terms and Conditions

Thank you for using SocketZero. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SocketZero’s software, services, and associated documentation. By using SocketZero, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use SocketZero.

1. Definitions

  • “SocketZero” refers to the proprietary software, including both the client-side and receiver-side code, developed and maintained by Radius Method, Inc.
  • “Helm Chart” refers to the open-source deployment configuration provided by SocketZero to facilitate installation and management.
  • “User” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using SocketZero.

2. License Grant

  • Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Radius Method, Inc grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the SocketZero client and receiver software in accordance with these Terms.
  • The Helm Chart provided for deploying SocketZero is open source and governed by its associated open-source license MIT.

3. Proprietary Rights

  • The SocketZero client and receiver software, including all updates, modifications, and associated intellectual property rights, are and shall remain the sole property of Radius Method, Inc.
  • You acknowledge and agree that you will not:
    1. Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of the proprietary SocketZero software, installers or license.
    2. Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the proprietary software, except as expressly permitted in writing by Radius Method, Inc.
    3. Redistribute, sublicense, or transfer the proprietary software to any third party without prior written consent.

4. Helm Chart

  • The Helm Chart provided by SocketZero is open source and may be used, modified, and distributed in accordance with its open-source license. However, this does not grant any rights to the proprietary client and receiver software.

5. Restrictions

  • You may not use SocketZero for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using SocketZero.
  • Any attempt to circumvent technical limitations of the proprietary software is strictly prohibited.
  • You may not transfer your license to any other party or use it in a manner not prescribed.
  • You agree to not reverse engineer the license capability.

6. Confidentiality

  • You agree to treat the proprietary code and associated documentation as confidential information.
  • You may not disclose, share, or make available any proprietary code, documentation, or non-public information to third parties without written consent.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

  • SocketZero is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • Radius Method, Inc does not guarantee that SocketZero will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with your systems.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Radius Method, Inc shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of SocketZero, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or system failure.

9. Termination

  • Radius Method, Inc reserves the right to terminate your license to use SocketZero if you violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the proprietary software and delete all copies in your possession.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

  • Radius Method, Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of SocketZero constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
